12 Days of Christmas: Candy Cane Nails

Good Morning Babes! Today is day 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas challenge. Candy Cane Nails is what we have going on today. I chose blue candy canes because those are the yummiest ones to me. My base is Bettina Vintage Jean, stamped with Blue Years Eve by China Glaze, Passion Purple by Dr's Remedy, BM ip 207, and SV at my tc. I chose this ip because the stripes aren't small like traditional candy canes, so I wanted to switch it up a little bit. Its came out as a fail because I didn't line up the stamp properly but I just didn't have enough to to completely redo the mani, so hopefully you see what I was trying to achieve. I'm still really under the weather, so please excuse this mani.
My Challenge Mates:
Carolina - Colores de Carol
Marta - Chit Chat Nails

Here's an idea of how I intended to stamp across my nail so that it would look more like the stripes on the candy cane.

Do you like my blue candy canes? The blue isn't exact but its the closes I could get. Have you checked out Tera, Marta and Carolina Candy Cane mani's yet? Thanks for stopping by to let me share with you. See you tomorrow for Wrapping Paper Nails.

12 Days of Christmas: Green Nails

Good Morning Babes! Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge is Green Nails. I went with 2 coats of Holly Day by China Glaze. The formula on HD is really good. I originally opted not to get this one when I was looking at the Let It Snow Collection, but ended up going back and getting it because I don't have any "Christmas tree green" colors in my stash.

My Challenge Mates:
Carolina - Colores de Carol
Marta - Chit Chat Nails

How are you liking Holly Day? Its just a basic green green type of green that's perfect for the holiday season. Don't forget to stop by and check on my loves Tera, Marta and Carolina, and follow their blogs if you aren't already a follower. Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow for Candy Cane Nails!

12 Days of Christmas: Silver Nails

Good Morning Babes! Today is day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas challenge and up today is Silver Nails. I used 1 coat of Zoya Trixie and my base, layered on 1 coat of OPI Crown Me Already, and a nice thick coat of SV as my tc. I couldn't resist adding a little bit of glitta to bling out this mani. I actually bought Trixie a while ago because I didn't own a silver, and I wanted a really good one that I could paint and stamp with.

My Challenge Mates:
Carolina - Colores de Carol
Marta - Chit Chat Nails

What do you think of this combo? I think it would be a fun NYE mani. Don't forget to stop by to see what Tera, Marta and Carolina came up with today for their silver nails, and if you aren't already following their amazing blogs don't hesitate to click that follow button! Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow for Green Nails!

12 Days of Christmas: Red Nails

Good Morning Babes! Today is day the first day of our 12 Day of Christmas Challenge. Its the same ladies in this challenge as the 10 Day Challenge we did last month. Red Nails is what we have going on today, so I took the chance to finally crack open my China Glaze Let It Snow Collection. Poinsetta is my choice of red and OMG am I so happy that I chose this baby. This is my first pure red that I have ever worn on my nails. I wore a metallic red by Bettina, but this color is red red. The formula is am amazing jelly creme hybrid. Don't you just love those types of formulas? I sure do! It took 3 coats to reach opacity but I totally didn't mind because it was super easy to apply and dried very fast.

My Challenge Mates:
Carolina - Colores de Carol
Marta - Chit Chat Nails

Don't you just love Poinsetta?! That's with NO tc, isn't it super glossy?! I'm so in love with this that I had to just admire it, because I sure wasn't about to stamp over it. This is the sexiest red ever and it looks amazing against my skin tone! I'm so glad I have shorties right now, because I really get to enjoy dark colors and look chic. I think on long nails dark colors can be a little touch and go (black and vampy colors like Lincoln Park After Dark) at times. Don't forget to check on my amazing challenge mates Tera, Marta and Carolina to see what they came up with for today's Red Nails. Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for Silver Nails. Thanks for reading :o)

Bettina Vintage Jean

Hello Babes! I have a late quick post for you today as I am feeling very bad right now. I woke up yesterday morning with the sorest throat ever, then as the day went on I started to get body aches and then headaches... So I took a break from packing to share a lovely Bettina with you! Vintage Jean is from the Jeans Collection (which I still haven't swatched, I know bad me) and its the color of light blue jeans, I actually have a pair of jeans similar to this color. Comparison wise I would say its a dark sky blue, just to kind of explain to you what it looks like. I used 2 coats for the swatches below with a coat of INM OTD as my tc.

Do you like Vintage Jean? I love this blue, its the perfect blue to wear on its own without adding anything to it. Thanks for stopping by :o)

Ozotic 528

Good Morning Babes! Today I have a one of my biggest lemmings to share with you, Ozotic 528! 528 has a clear base packed with green, pink, purple, and blue glitter. This is absolutely amazing, just tons of fun in a bottle! This beauty was a surprise that I got in my box when I ordered aEngland Lady of the Lake from Leah Ann over at Llarowe! I literally screamed when I opened up the box because 528 (along with 532) are the 2 Ozotics that I have just been drooling over! If you aren't familiar with Llarowe she's a US stockist of hard to get and international brands (aEngland, Ozotic/Picture Polish, Glitter Gal, Hits, Ludurana, and now Lynnderella). Don't forget to follow her on Twitter and FB to stay up to date on what she has going on. Ok, for the swatches below I used 1 coat of OPI Black Onyx (seriously opaque in 1 freaking coat!!!), 1 coat of 528, and no tc.

What do you think of the lovely 528? I'm going to try layering it over some of the other colors that are packed in here to see what it looks like and what colors really pop. I wonder what it would look like over pink or purple... Hmmm I can't wait to try those combo's out! IRL this looks 20x better, I promise its nothing short of amazing! Thanks for stopping by to let me share with you and enjoy your Sunday :o)

Glitter Gal Light as a Feather

Good Morning Babes. Today I have Glitter Gal's Light as a Feather. LAAF is a is another beauty that I picked up from the lovely Katie at Harlow & Co.. This beauty is a lovely light grey linear holo with a very soft but also very noticeable holographic effect. I LOVE THIS POLISH! Did I mention that I love it? Well I do and its actually my favorite holo that I own out of Nfu Oh 61 & 63, Lizard Belly and Lady of the Lake! Its that amazing in my opinion. I think what makes it so amazing is that its so delicate but still obviously a holo. For the swatches below I used 2 thin coats and no tc. The formula is nothing short of amazing! Light As A Feather is the perfect name, so fitting. Enough of my babbling, onto the yumminess...

Don't you just love LAAF? I was a little worried that it wouldn't go well with my skin tone but I fell in love from the very first swipe of the brush! You can see the holo effect indoors just as well as you can see them outdoors, which is what I love about GG holo's. I literally screamed when I got the bottle and saw how little it is, but its totally worth the $14. The holo effect is a little stronger IRL but only by a little bit. Even though its not as strong as the other GG's its still very noticeable that its a holo. Thanks for stopping by to let me share with you.
