Zoya Pixies: London

                                                                                                                                                                            *Press Sample*

Hello! Today I have a combo that is a fail for me because I thought London was going to dry a tad lighter than it did. Also, I paired it with my beloved Sweet that I haven't worn in ages and I thought it was lighter. This was a potential Easter mani I was trying out, but its just a tad too dark as I wanted a pastel look. None the less I did enjoy this mani to pieces for an entire week with minimal tip wear. I used two coats of both London and Sweet. The formula on London just like the other two I've tried so far is thick but nice. A surprise was that the dry time was pretty fast, just under 10 minutes to get to the finish shown below.

Are you loving London? I can tell you right now that its the one I was most excited about out of the 6. Such a lovely shade of light gunmetal grey. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.

Note: Sorry about the picture quality, I'm editing from my phone until my computer is good to go since my old Sony Cybershot gave out on me :( . Only one more post should be pre new camera.

Zoya PixieDust: Dahlia and Chyna

Hello Loves! Long time no post huh? That is a whole other topic to get into in a little bit more detail when I get my computer and it all set up. So today I have two Zoya lovelies to share with you. I've been rockin' the shorties for about 5 months now, so I wanted to wear the darker shades first before pastel obsession kicks in for me and I itch for longer nails. The formula on both was just a teeny tiny bit thick, but in the best way for a polish of this texture. I used two thin coats of Dahlia (black), and 1 coat of Chyna (red). Chyna was sooo pigmented, and reminds me of the many different Ruby Slippers. Both were very glittery in person, but it didn't quite translate in the photos with my dinosaur of a camera (have a new one now YAY). Dry time was super fast on the first coat for Dahlia, but a bit slower when the second coat was applied. Chyna took longer to dry than two coats of Dahlia, and it was only one coat. In all it took about 15-20 minutes for them to be full dry. Removal was super easy, and there was no staining at all.

Are you loving the Pixies as much as I am? Is the textured finish your thing, or are you passing it up altogether. I chose to wear them as mani's instead of posting the whole collection at once, because I fell in love and didn't want to take it off. Thanks for reading loves, and see you with the next combo. P.S My posting will be back to normal like old times when my new computer is all set up :)

Kisses
K
