Lacquistry Shredded

Good Morning Babes! Today I have a quick post to share Lacquistry Shredded with you. Shredded has a clear base packed with black irregular flakes similar to NYX Gilded Glitter but with bigger pieces. I layered 1 coat of Shredded over 2 coats of Ciate Cupcake Queen, which is a hot pink that has a beautiful blue micro shimmer with a formula that makes me want to throw the bottle against the wall and smash it to bits. I hate that this beautiful pink has a suckey formula, and application is just as bad because it doesn't level out at all and it wants to flood your cuticles no matter how thin of a coat you apply. I do really like it under Shredded though, so onto the swatches...

What do you think of Shredded over CQ? I don't know what's up with the second picture being a little dark, they were both taken in my light box without flash :-/ ... Anyhoo you know I love this combo over pink, and I definitely want to try it over a nice cornflower blue! Thanks for stopping by and checking out what I have to share with you today. Glitrix Smurfy

Good Morning Babes! Super quick post to share with you today. Glitrix Smurfy is a bright blue creme polish packed with small red glitter and silver holo hexes. Unfortunately with the weird star bottle and the formula being so thick, the hexes refused to be fished out. I really really cant stand this bottle because most of the glitter settles in the points of the star, and its impossible to get. The formula was thick but not a bad way. Application was buttery smooth, and reaches opacity in 2 thin coats. This bad boy stains like no other (you will see), so be careful around your cuticles! I used Seche Vite as my top coat. What do you think of Smurfy? I will be honest and say that I'm  a little disappointed in this polish. I wanted more red glitter to translate onto the nail, and at least one stinking holo glitter sheesh. I almost didn't post these swatches because the staining makes me a little sick to my stomach, but they have been sitting in drafts for weeks, so I decided to go ahead and post them. I'm going to swatch Smurfy again in the near future when I have spare time on my hands, and patience to see if I have better luck next time with more glitter. Fierce Friday: Party On My Yacht

Good Evening Babes! I know its been a while, but I know you all understand that life happens. I have Party On My Yacht by Pretty & Polished to share with you this evening. Chels of Pretty n Polished and the creator of this lovely gem said the name came from the gorgeous champagne colored sparkles and brightly colored "summer shore" colors. Application and formula was amazing and it took 3 thin coats to reach full opacity. There's gold, purple, green, and hot pink glitters, along with blue bar glitter packed in a milky white base. I topped it off with a nice coat of SV and it was perfectly smooth. The first 2 pictures are taken outside in natural sunlight, the last picture is indoors.

What do you think of POMY? I can tell you that I was DROOLING for this baby and it didn't disappoint! If you like what you see in the pictures then you will love it in person because its even better!
