Pink Wednesday

Good Morning Babes! Today for Pink Wednesday I have Models Own Pinky Brown. Pinky Brown is from the Beetlejuice Collection that came out this past fall. PB has the prettiest pink to brown duochrome shift with pink glitter. It looks like it has a very tiny sprinkling of holo glitter which I think is what gives it the glass flecked look. I don't know, I really stared at this polish for a long time and its just so interesting. I'm really bad at explaining this particular lacquer so I will just let the swatches do the talking. I used 2 coats in the swatches below, and SV as my tc.

Please excuse my dry cuticles, I rubbed vitamin e oil on the and they are still bad. This winter has not been kind to my poor hands, thus the nubbins. These swatches aren't my best due to cleanup being a bit hard because by the time I got around to my last swatches for the day my cuticles were extremely irritated (especially my ring and index fingers, ouch :o( ). Readers Request: Models Own Emerald Black

Good Morning Babes! Today I'm sharing Emerald Black with you from the Models Own Beetlejuice Collection. Marisa from Polish Obsession asked me if she could see a swatch of this beauty because I raved about it on Twitter, so of course I had to post it because she's the nicest girl ever. I was up late with Rie (Nails and Noms), and Jen (The Polishaholic) waiting for the clock to strike and the sale go live, but after the order was placed it was a little bit of a nightmare for me. I will get into that story at a later date when I swatch the rest of the collection. For the swatches below I used 2 coats and no top coat. Application was very good, and so is the formula. The duochrome effect is very subtle in this baby but its there. I really love this one and its my second favorite from the whole collection, and I wasn't even going to get this one if I had to pay for them individually and not the set. Onto the swatches...

What do you think about Emerald Black? I really love this shade, and I will definitely be getting my moneys worth out of it and not collecting dust. This is my last post with my long nails :o( I have super nubbins right now because this winter is taking a toll something serious on my hands and I have some peeling. So tomorrow will be nubbins! Essence Where Is The Party?

Quick post today babes, I'm running on fumes and rushing as I'm typing this so that I can crawl in bed and attempt to get some good sleep tonight. Where is the Party is a duochrome that "looks" like a frosty purple but is an explosion of green, turquoise/blue and purple depending on the angle of your hand. AMAZING! I used 2 coats and no top coat for these swatches.

Please excuse the crappy swatches, it was one of those where I was just trying the polish out and ended up loving it and taking pictures. Aside from the crappy paint job isn't this FAB?! Thanks for stopping by.
