Lynnderella Shape Shifter

Good Morning Babes and happy Saturday! Today I have Lynnderella's Shape Shifter to share with you. Shape Shifter is a clear base with multiple sizes of silver holographic hexagons and squares, micro glitter, hearts, stars, diamonds, crescent moons, flowers, butterflies, and bars! I layered SS over 2 coats of OPI's Black Onyx. Tell me that this polish is not CRAY CRAY! I almost passed up on this one when I placed my order back in September and I'm so glad I didn't because I would have been mad at myself. I topped it off with 1 coat of SV and was good to go. Application was super easy for this to be such a jammed packed glitter. Onto the awesomeness...

What do you think about Shape Shifter? I'm absolutely crazy about this polish! Thanks for stopping by babes and enjoy your Saturday!

Revlon Royal Cloak

Good Morning Babes! What I'm sharing with you today is Revlon's Royal Cloak. Royal Cloak is a dark purple with pearl white flakies and purple, blue, and silver fine micro glitter. I can't tell you how much I love this polish, I love every single thing about it. Formula was amazing and very easy to manage. It took 2 thin coats to reach opacity, and dry time was very fast. In the pictures below I didn't use a tc.

The second picture is how it really looks. Can you believe what those flakies do to this purple polish? This is officially my favorite purple! What do you think of Royal Cloak? Thanks for stopping by :o)

butter LONDON Holiday 2011 Collection

Good Morning Babes! Today I have butter LONDON's Holiday 2011 Collection to share with you. I was very excited about this collection mainly because it looked like bL was stepping out of the box. I'm glad I finally have it although it took them 2 weeks just to send it to me and then sent it via FedEx the slowest way so it took another week for me to get it - from Washington state to DC is UNACCEPTABLE. I had to mention them on Twitter saying that I was never going to order for them again and that I would wait until ULTA gets it from now on. I magically had a new follower and a DM, and 30 minutes later I got a ship notification in my inbox. So naturally that put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to butter LONDON and I will never order from them directly again, piss poor service (excuse my language). So there was a bit of a damper on my excitement when I finally received my package 3 weeks after ordering it. OK rant over, onto the swatches.

Tart With A Heart has a soft pink shimmer base with green, orange, blue, pink, purple, and holo glitter, and gold micro glitter. I used 3 1/2 coats in these swatches. This is a layering polish, its never going to be opaque. The formula was on the thick side so allow a tiny bit a wait time in between coats or your going to get some drag. Dry time is very good but it dries gritty so I had to use 2 coats of SV.

Fairy Lights is described as a "liquid metal" rose pink. It took 2 coats to reach opacity, but there are still some slightly visible brush strokes with very careful application. The formula was terrible and painted on kind of patchy on the first coat which was weird. By bL standards this was horrid, the others I have, have amazing formulas and are easy to paint with. However the color is so pretty and worth it to me. I used INM OTD  as my tc.

Just to see what it would look like I added 1 coat of Tart With A Heart over Fairy Lights.

Black Knight ah the star of the trio how I love this one. Black jelly base packed with blue, red, silver and purple glitter. This is definitely a polish you want to layer over a black cream to preserve. The formula made me want to throw the bottle because its terribly goopy and hard to manage, I might just add a teeny bit of thinner. I used 3 coats to reach opacity and 2 coats of SV. The agony was well worth it because this polish is amaze balls! The pictures do not do it justice, it really needs to be seen in person.

What do you think of this bL trio? I honestly think that they got the names of the pinks wrong, the glitter totally looks like it should be called Fairy Lights and not vice versa. Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow :)

Pink Wednesday

Good Afternoon Babes and Happy Pink Wednesday! Super late post today, I usually schedule my posts to go out before I'm even out of bed for my international readers but I was still recovering from lack of sleep so I had to do swatches this morning. Today I have CND Blueberry Whip. Blueberry Whip is a soft dusty pink with blue undertones, in fact those undertones are so visible that it almost washes out the pink completely. The formula was amazing, but the polish holds a TON of polish so you have to be careful of that or you will have a mess on your hands. It took 2 coats to reach opacity and it dried super duper fast to a nice glossy finish. No tc in the pictures below.

The first is how BW really looks. Of course because its CND I had to try an effect with it. Below is 1 coat of Violet Shimmer over BW and no tc.

What do you think of Blueberry Whip? I really like it and the fact that it has so much blue in it, its a very unique pink in my collection. Thanks for stopping by so that I could share with you :)

Essence Where Is The Party?

Quick post today babes, I'm running on fumes and rushing as I'm typing this so that I can crawl in bed and attempt to get some good sleep tonight. Where is the Party is a duochrome that "looks" like a frosty purple but is an explosion of green, turquoise/blue and purple depending on the angle of your hand. AMAZING! I used 2 coats and no top coat for these swatches.

Please excuse the crappy swatches, it was one of those where I was just trying the polish out and ended up loving it and taking pictures. Aside from the crappy paint job isn't this FAB?! Thanks for stopping by.
