Nfu. Oh #63

Good Morning Babes! Today I have a quick post for you today to show you Nfu. Oh #63. #63 is a pink holo with flashes of orange, green and blue. I've had this (and #61) for a while but I had to wait for a day when the sun was really out and not playing peek-a-boo so that I could really show you how it looks. I absolutely love this color and I couldn't have chose a better first holo for myself. For the swatches below I used 2 coats of #63 over the Nfu. Oh Aqua Base. I've heard stories about how these holo's have horrid application but I had absolutely no problem, which could be because I have never applied it without the base. I didn't use a top coat but I did contemplate OPI's DS Topcoat because I own it, so I will try it when I swatch #61. When applying you have to be careful to make sure you get even brush strokes because it can come out looking crazy if you aren't careful. Dry time was very very fast. Enough rambling and onto the beauty known as #63.

Bettina Disco Collection

Good Morning Babes! Today I'm really excited to show you Bettina's new limited edition Disco Collection. As soon as I saw the picture I rushed to place my order. Bettina describes this collection as "back to the 70's with multi-dimensional color flash achieved with glass particles carefully controlled in shape and size", and I love what she came up with! All of the polishes applied a bit on the sheer side and needed 3 coats to reach opacity (I could see VNL in some pictures with flash but its definitely not noticeable in person). Just like all my Bettina's the formula is amazing and a very easy paint, most requiring no clean up. Dry time is good when comparing to other brands, but for Bettina who has super fast drying polish its a little on the slow side but still good. I used no TC in these swatches. The lighting is different on some of the pictures because some were taken inside, some outside, with and without flash, whatever I had to do to capture the true color of these polishes. OK so onto the yummy goodness...

Peace - is what I would call sour apple green shimmer with gold and green micro glitter. I want to say that I saw flashes of pink micro glitter also but I don't know because the color is so blindingly bright! This is my least favorite of the group just because I'm very particular about my greens but it is still very pretty and eye catching. It translates on the nail exactly how it looks in the bottle, there is no duo effect with this color.

Boogie - a dark purple shimmer with blue and a lighter purple/fuchsia micro glitter. This one translates true onto your nail as you see it in the bottle, one of the ones that doesn't flash a different color at different angles (no duo effect). I really like this color, something I would definitely love to have on my toes!

Hustle - is a turquoise green shimmer with green, blue and purple micro glitter. When you move the bottle around you really see the purple but it doesn't really translate onto the nail like how you see it flash when you move the bottle from side to side. Still a gorgeous color that I would absolutely wear.

Hot Pants - a medium blue  shimmer packed with blue and purple micro glitter. In the bottle this looks AMAZING and has a duochrome look to it but unfortunately it doesn't translate on the nail as it looks in the bottle, its very minimal and didn't really show up in the pictures at all. Still this color is very beautiful and I will definitely be revisiting it in the summer!

Groovie - ah the hot pink of the group.  I love this color and its my second favorite of the collection! Hot pink shimmer with hot pink and blue micro glitter.  PERFECTION! There is no duochrome effect to this one, however it does translate onto the nail just as you see it in the bottle. The blue glitter is very visible on the nail and makes it POP! That surprised me because the blue glitter isn't all that visible in the bottle, it was a nice little treat.

Inside no flash. Can you see that blue glittah?!

Hippie - Oh how I love Hippie! This is the star of the collection in my opinion because it is the most vibrant and although some of the others translate just fine, this one does AND THEN SOME! Hippie is an orange shimmer with gold and green micro glitter. I was drooling while swatching this color, it packs serious punch and is very bright and obnoxious in a really good way! Its like looking directly at the sun only its on your nails! I don't even particularly care for orange/yellow/gold, I usually run in the other direction, but Bettina hooked me in with this one!

Do you love this collection as much as I do? Bettina definitely outdid herself with this collection! Thanks for stopping by and letting me share with you :)

Orly Rock Solid

Good Morning Babes! Rock Solid from Orly's Mineral FX Collection is what I have to share with you today. Initially I wasn't interested in this polish at all, but after reading rave reviews and then seeing how good it looked on my fellow brown girl bloggers I decided to give it  try. I was browsing through ULTA and I walked past the Orly display and just glanced at it and there sat 1 Fowl Play and 1 Rock Solid, and let me tell you that they are ALWAYS sold out so I snatched them up. Rock solid is a gunmetal grey with the same color glitter along with a rainbow assortment of glitter. When you were little did you ever see those rocks that looked like they had diamond particles embedded in them? That's what Rock Solid reminds me of so the name is very fitting. For the pictures below I used 2 coats of RS and 1 coat of SV. Application was really good, and so was the formula and dry time.

I really like Rock Solid, its very interesting and I don't own another like it. What do you think of Rock Solid? Thanks for stopping by so that I could share with you :)

Pink Wednesday!

Good Morning Babes and Happy Pink Wednesday! What I have for you today is Devious Nature by Cult Nails. Devious Nature is a beautiful hot pink without being to loud, that has a blue undertone. I LOVE THIS COLOR, and not just for obvious reasons, its just a very beautiful pink and it looks really good on my skin tone. For the pictures below I used 2 thin coats and no top coat. The formula is absolutely amazing, very easy to apply and dries super fast - like to the touch with pressure fast.

What do you think of Devious Nature, isn't it gorg?! Thanks for stopping by :)

Color Club Untamed Luxury

Good Morning Babes! Today I have Color Club's Untamed Luxury. Untamed Luxury is has a sheer turquoise green base packed with green and blue glitter. I used 3 thin coats to reach opacity for these swatches. Dry time is really fast, but it dries very gritty so you will need a thick glossy TC. Application  was easy and the formula is actually really good for it to be so jammed packed with glitter. I used 2 coats of SV to get a nice smooth glossy finish.

With flash

I really like this color! Its definitely not for everyday because its very in your face, but maybe a night out or on the weekend. What do you think of Untamed Luxury? Thanks for stopping by!

butter LONDON Blagger

Good Morning Babes! Late post today because I forgot to put a time when I scheduled it grrrr. Today I have my first butter LONDON to show you. Blagger is a beautiful medium toned blue cream polish. It sounds cheesy but it really does glide on like butter, I love it :) . In the swatches below I used 2 thin coats and no top coat. The formula and application were wonderful and it dries pretty fast too!  I wasn't able to really get any good pictures because I just had a crappy day taking pictures, but I did capture the true color, so I decided to show you anyway because I don't know when I will get back to swatching it again.

I wasn't going to post this because the pictures are absolutely horrid. I love this color and I won't be able to get back to Blagger any time soon because I have so much to swatch through,  so I went ahead and posted it. What do you think about Blagger? I absolutely adore this color, and it looks even better in person!
